QUESTION: Councillor A.M. Dermody

"An item was placed on the agenda for the May Area Committee meeting relating to the pedestrian barrier on Ballyboden Road which is in poor condition.  This was to be inspected by your engineer and action taken.  This does not appear to have happened?" 

REPLY:

It is proposed to remove this barrier as the entrance at which it is situated is no longer in operation. Road Maintenance staff will remove this barrier in early October 2013.
