b)  FILLING OF VACANCIES ON VARIOUS COMMITTEES / STATUTORY BODIES FOLLOWING RESIGNATION OF COUNCILLOR MATTHEW McDONAGH

REPLY:

Following the co-option of Councillor E. Ó Broin to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Councillor M. McDonagh a number of vacancies exist on the following committees / statutory bodies previously held by Councillor McDonagh:

• Clondalkin Area Committee
• Housing Strategic Policy Committee
• Sports, Recreation, Community Development and Parks Strategic Policy Committee
• Clondalkin Drugs Task Force
• Dublin Mid-Leinster Regional Health Forum
• Liffey Valley Management Advisory Committee
• SDCC Joint Policing Committee

It is a matter for the Council to appoint a replacement to each of the above positions and this is now before the Members for consideration and recommendation.
