MOTION: Councillor D. Looney

That this Committee calls for the provision of a "dog run" area in Tymon Park in which owners will be permitted to allow their dogs off the leash, similar to arrangements elsewhere in the County.

REPORT:

An suitable site has now been identified in Tymon Park for the provision of a 'Dog Run'. The site is located on the Limekiln side of the Park in the vicinity of the proposed Tasc Pavilion. It is planned to provide a Dog Run at this location early in 2014, subject to funds being available.
