MOTION: Councillor M. Corr

That the Manager undertakes to complete landscaping and enhancement of the roundabout at Sundale Road in conjunction with the local residents environment group.

REPORT:

The roundabout at the junction of Sundale Road and Fortunestown Lane was recently upgraded by the Public Realm section and the grass surround has been replaced with gravel. The bare areas in the centre of the roundabout have been sprayed with herbicide and it is proposed to replant and bark mulch these shortly. The assistance of the local residents environment group in relation to the replanting of the roundabout particularly with regard to the purchase and selection of plant material etc. would be welcome.
