That this Committee calls on the Manager to reaffirm the commitment of South Dublin County Council to the Jobstown Community by assisting the Management Committee of the All Weather Pitch to secure funding to refurbish this valuable community facility.

REPORT:

Jobstown All Weather Pitch has  received considerable amounts of funding from South Dublin County Council over the last number of years. South Dublin County Council will continue to support the management committee in sourcing further funding and in that context, it is considered essential that a business plan should be drawn up to support any such funding application. Any advice and assistance required by the Board of Management will be made available by the SDCC Community Team. These are very challenging times from a funding and resources perspective, but every avenue will be explored to see if the necessary funding can be identified.
