QUESTION: Councillor T. Gilligan

To ask the Manager to address the issues recently submitted in relation to broken windows at Méile an Rí?

REPLY:

The Council has a dedicated Anti social team assigned to the Balgaddy area.  All complaints in relation to anti social behaviour should be  reported through the following avenues, telephone 414 9265, customer care system, housing clinics, freephone 1800 200 245.  All complaints will be fully investigated and appropriate action taken as deemed necessary after investigation of the complaint.

In relation to Tenants responsibilities in accordance with Clause 2 of the Tenancy agreement, replacement of broken glass is tenants responsibility.  The tenant shall be responsible for repairs to doors, windows, fixtures and fittings in the dwelling caused by destruction or damage by burglary, housebreaking, larceny or theft.
