MOTION NO. 13

MOTION: Councillor T. Gilligan

That the Manager outline how many seats exist around the Clondalkin area (including Village area) and that this Committee propose suitable locations for seating for pedestrians around the place.

REPORT:

A study into the parking and traffic in Clondalkin Village is being undertaken. Consultants have been appointed to study traffic and travel patterns in and around the village. The street scape throughout the village will be considered in conjunction the movement needs for pedestrians in the village and accessing such areas as the Red Cow Luas and Irish Rail stations. Provision of seats can be considered following publication of the report.
