QUESTION NO.10

QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

To ask the Manager if contact has been made with the Roads Department and/or a contractor with regard to the tree at *details provided*, and given that this has been an ongoing issue for some seven years, to state if the tree can be scheduled for removal."

REPLY:

This tree outside *details provided*  is a large Silver Birch . The tree in question is considered to be in a reasonably good condition and would not be considered a priority for pruning or removal at this time. The footpath as this location has been repaired and there are no trip hazards present. The condition of the tree will therefore, be monitored in the future and any necessary remedial work will then be carried out by the Council.
