MOTION: Councillor M. Corr

That the Manager introduces a pilot Adopt-a-Road scheme within the West Tallaght area and to roll out the scheme Tallaght wide if successful, the scheme should engage with businesses and community alike with a view to rewards issuing from the Social Credit Scheme.

REPORT:

The Council is currently examining the introduction of an Adopt -a-Road scheme which would be rolled out through the Social Credits system. The scheme will be pilotted in the West Tallaght area. A review of the scheme will take place prior to the launch of the scheme countywide.
