QUESTION:  Councillor E. Tuffy

To ask the Manager to make a report on the amount of money allocated in 2013 for each of the Housing Grants Schemes, viz. the Housing Adaptation Grant Scheme for People with a Disability, the Mobility Aids Housing Grants Scheme, and the Housing Aids for Older People Grants Scheme, and to provide the same information for 2012 and the number of Applications received under each scheme in 2012, the number of Grants awarded under each scheme in  2012, and the amount of money allocated in 2012 under each scheme?

REPLY:

The capital allocation to South Dublin County Council from the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government for payment of the Housing Adaptation Grants for Older People and People with A Disability Schemes i.e. Housing Adaptation Grant for People with A Disability (HAG); Mobility Aids Housing Grant Scheme (MAG) and Housing Aid for Older People (HOP) was €1,952,818.66 in 2012 and is €1,340,098.00 for 2013.
