MOTION: Councillor M. Corr

That the Manager reports on the following question placed on 2 previous agendas: 

"To ask the Manager to give a report on the poor condition of litter bins, bus shelter and service units on the Brookfield Road given no action whatsoever has been taken since this matter was discussed 2 months ago at the Tallaght area committee?"

REPORT:

In relation to the litter bins along the Brookfield Road, the Public Realm Maintenance Division is currently undertaking an inventory and inspection of litter bins in this area in order to establish the number of litter bins requiring repair and/or replacement. Once this inventory/inspection is complete the Public Realm Maintenance Division will arrange to have these litter bins along the Brookfield Road repaired and/or replaced where required.

With regard to the 2  bus shelters and service units on the Brookfield Road,  letter from Dublin Bus presented to this meeting under COR (1) wherein Dublin Bus commit to upgrading the bus shelter along Brookfield Road.
