QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager for an update on the issue of disused telephone boxes in the Dublin 12 area as raised by several Cllrs at the Area Committee meeting in April, and to make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

The owners / operators of the former Smart Telecom phone booths have been requested to remove these disused facilities. If no response is received, South Dublin County Council will arrange for an electrical contractor to remove the equipment and disconnect all electrical connections.
