MOTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

"That this Committee is very dissatisified that the grass on the dual carriageway between the County Boundary and the M50 interchange has not been cut yet this year and calls on Mangement to arrange a schedule of cutting/maintenance.  It is noted that the section between the Oval and the City boundary was very well trimmed recently."

REPORT: 

Roads Maintenance is currently in discussion with Parks Dept regarding the grasscutting schedule for the 2013 summer period. This will include a cut from the county boundary with Dublin City Council to the M50 Interchange. The maintenance of the N4 from M50 Interchange west to boundary with Kildare Co Co is now being carried out by a private contractor GSJ, as contracted by the NRA.
