MOTION NO. 4

MOTION: Councillor M. Corr

That the Manager arranges to enforce the Derelict Sites Act at *Address Provided without delay as the site is dangerous and an eyesore and is having a serious negative impact on the residential amenity of the area particularly bearing in mind Summer holidays are imminent.

REPORT:

The site in question will be investigated under the Derelict Sites Act, 1990.  Following receipt of the report, if works are deemed to be necessary to prevent or halt dereliction the site owners or responsible persons will be written to requesting that works be carried out.  If the site is thought to be potentially dangerous, the matter will be referred to the Dangerous Places section of the Council's Architectural Services Department.
