Part 8 – Proposed Grange Castle Business Park Central Carriageway Layout.

REPORT:

Part 8 - Public Consultation of Proposal for the Construction of the Grange Castle Business Park Central Carriageway and Ancillary Works.

Planning and Development Act 2000

Planning and Development Regulations 2001 to 2012.

 The proposal provides for:-

 ·  Construction of 550m of 9m wide single carriageway road

·  Construction of cycletracks, footpaths and verges

·  Provision of drainage and associated features

·  Provision of public lighting, road markings and signage

·  Relocation of services where necessary

·  Provision of other services and utilities where necessary

·  Provision of landscaping finishes

·  All associated site works as necessary to complete the scheme

 Plans and particulars of the proposed development are available for inspection at:-

 South Dublin County Council, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24, between the hours of 9:30am - 12:45pm and 2:00pm - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00 am - 4.00 pm Friday

and

South Dublin County Council, Civic Offices, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 between the hours of 9:30am - 12:45pm and 2:00pm - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.30 am - 4.00 pm Friday

 From Wednesday, 8th May 2013 - Wednesday, 19th June 2013.

 Submissions and observations with respect to this matter, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area, in which the development would be situated, may be made in writing to:

 It should be noted that the Freedom of Information Act, 1997-2006 applies to all records held by South Dublin County Council.

The Council at its meeting held on 10th December, 2012 noted the disposal of 11 hectares (27.18 acres) to Grifols Worldwide Operations Limited, Minute No. H8a/1212 refers.

 The terms included the provision for the contribution towards the construction of the proposed central carriageway and services.

 A similar provision is included in the terms and conditions for the proposed disposal of 112.52 acres to Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited presented to the meeting of the Council held on 13th May, 2013.

 The agreement of the Area Committee is sought to bring the Report on the proposal directly to the meeting of the Council scheduled for 8th July, 2013.
