That this Committee supports keeping the Corkagh Park gates open till 6.30pm as groups still use the facilities up until this time

REPORT:

The closing time of Corkagh Park, along with all of the Council's other parks, varies throughout the year in accordance with the daylight hours.  Currently the park closes at 8pm and this will extend to 9pm during the longer days in June, July and August. The opening and closing times are set out in the Parks and Open Spaces Bye-laws 2011 and full details of park opening/closing times can be found on the Councils Website at www.sdcc.ie
