QUESTION NO. 13

QUESTION: Councillor A.M. Dermody

"To ask the Manager to report back into the progress made with regard to planning enforcement taken by this Council and concerning the authorised development of property at address supplied. To ask the Manager to consider instigating legal action if no progress has been made with regard to the matter?"

REPLY:

In order to facilitate a solution to the planning issues at this location a decision was made to dispose of lands owned by South Dublin County Council to the owners of the property concerned. This process was completed in January 2013. Whilst the materials to enable the works necessary to resolve the planning issues are on site no works have been carried out to date. The site is being monitored and consideration is being given to what steps need be taken next to bring this matter to a conclusion.
