"That the Manager give an update on the recent blockage and discharge of sewerage at Pinewood Park. There seems to be a problem with the manhole on the road at Pinewood Park causing sewage discharge in back gardens. Could the Council state what works need to be done to sort out the problem."

REPORT:

The recent blockage in the foul sewer in the Pinewood Park area resulting in the overflowing of sewerage into a garden was a once off incident. The foul sewer lines in the Pinewood Park area are not problematic and there are no defects in the system that the Council is aware of. The Council receives very few calls from this area.
