QUESTION: Councillor B. Lawlor

"To ask the Manager is there any progress on the issue of resurfacing the Bottle Bank Area at Firhouse Community Centre?"

REPLY:

The improvement works to the Firhouse Community Centre bring bank site have been carried out in part, but have not yet been completed.  The area in front of the containers has been filled with stone and levelled.  The boulders which had been in place in front of the clothes container to assist in accessing the chute have now been removed as they are no longer required.  The works yet to be done are the raising of a drainage gulley and tarmacing of the area in front of the containers.  These works will be completed in the coming weeks.
