QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager for a full and detailed update on the delivery of the TASC Pavilion in Tymon Park, including reasons behind any delays, if any, and to make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

Tenders for the construction of the TASC pavilion have been examined and the Council is currently awaiting confirmation from the recommended company that the necessary bonds are in place, prior to the formal awarding of the contract. The company has been given  a deadline to provide the necessary documents. In the event that the company is unable to meet this requirement, the Council will move to consider the next lowest tender.
