QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

"To ask the Manager if the Council has assessed the possible negative impact on the residential amenity of householders living adjacent to the entrance to Palmerston Cemetery, arising from increased parking outside their homes and the driveways to their homes, consequent on works being completed to extend the number of burial plots in the cemetery and the consquent reduction of the car parking area within the curtelege of the cemetery and if she will make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

Consequential displacement of parking to the nearby residential areas due to extension works to the cemetery will be studied and a report will be brought to an upcoming Traffic Management Meeting.
