QUESTION: Councillor M. McDonagh

To ask the Manager further to his response to Question no 5 at the March 20 Clondalkin Area Committee to provide an update on the transfer of land between Kilmahuddrick Road and Kilcronan Grove from Cluid Housing Association to SDCC and in light of the very serious illegal dumping at this site to outline what plans the Council has to resolve this issue once the transfer from Cluid has been completed?

REPLY:

The acquisition of this site will be completed shortly by the Council's Law Department.  A letter has been received from the Vendors Solicitors confirming that the site has been cleared.  The Environment Department will be requested to monitor the site to ensure that is is maintained in a clear and tidy condition.
