QUESTION NO. 8

QUESTION: Councillor A.M. Dermody

"To ask the Manager to outline the Council’s policy to mending leaking pipes, I’m referring in particular to a leaking pipe between **Address supplied, which flows down the hill and can be dangerously slippy when it freezes over?"

REPLY:

The leak referred to in Ballyroan Heights would seem to be on a drinking water service pipe to a house. The Water Section will confirm this by sampling the water. If confirmed the householder will be told to repair the pipe to conserve water.
