QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager the terms of reference for the study of Walkinstown Roundabout to be undertaken as per the National Roads Allocation, and to make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

A brief for the engagement of consultants is currently being prepared for the Walkinstown Roundabout Study.

The funding provided by the NTA is for an Assessment to be made and an Options report produced to address the pedestrian, cyclist, bus and general traffic management needs at the Walkinstown Roundabout. The Options Report when completed, will be presented to the NTA for assessment and approval as part of the NTA funding process.
