QUESTION: Councillor T. Gilligan
To ask the Manager to outline bonds outstanding in 2011/2012; bonds not extended and why in 2011/2012; also broken down into the respective local areas?
REPLY:
In respect of the question above it should be noted that in the last four years particularly, actions by the Council in pursuit of claims on bonds have contributed to the completion of works and the taking in charge of over 30 estates in the county. The categories outlined in the question would in practical terms relate to those bonds that the Council has placed claims upon and is pursuing. In a significant number of cases, either the developer, receiver or bond company have completed or are completing taking in charge related works or are in the process of agreeing the works with the Council. The list below for the County outlines the estates and the status of works/claims in the affected cases:
