QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle
To ask the Manager to advise if this Council has since acquired any of the Part V social and affordable housing units listed in the detailed reply to Question No. 5 of the March 2011 Council Meeting; and in case of each acquisition to advise if the agreed costs (also listed in the aforementioned previous reply) were paid or if a reduced cost was negotiated?

The following table provides a current update on the reply to Question No. 5 of the March 2011 Council Meeting in respect of binding pre 2010 Part V agreements :-

The named developments continue to be monitored closely for progress and the Council will engage with the respective developers and their agents to renegotiate previously agreed terms. It should be noted that the life of the relevant planning permissions will be a matter for consideration as part of any renegotiation process.
