MOTION: Councillor P. Kearns

That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the immediate inspection and repair of the footpath at the entrance to St Michaels House as you turn onto the walkway from Rossmore. The gradient is causing extreme hardship for the clients of the facility and their carers as it is very difficult for wheel chair users.

REPORT:

The path at this location is generally in good condition but there are sections that require upgrading and that might cause problems for the clients of St Michael’s House.  The extent and the cost of undertaking the work is being examined at present and a further report will be presented to the Elected Members as soon as this survey and costing has been completed.
