QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager to resolve the issue with road signage installed on Newtown Park, Tallaght, to ensure that there is no confusion between parking restrictions and the "yield" sign in place?"

REPLY:

The yield sign and markings recommended come with a continuous white centre line. The continuous white centre line runs from the junction of Newtown Park and Main Street to public lighting pole no. 1 on Newtown Park. The white continuous centre line prohibits parking on both sides of the road over its length.
