QUESTION NO. 3
QUESTION: Councillor M. Devine
"To ask the Manager for a report on the houses within the Rossfield Estate that have been graded forWindow/door replacement and what units are to be attended to this year?"
REPLY:
There are currently 37 applications for window replacements within the Rossfield Area, 28 of these are graded 5 and 5 are on the list for grading. All except 5 are recent applications. 2 were fitted within the last two weeks.
Of the remaining 26, 14 do not have a clear rent account and will be deferred for consideration until the matter is addressed.
In the context of the overall Replacement Programme county wide and the outstanding numbers, it is currently envisaged that 3 more houses in this area will have window/door replaced this year.
However, the Programme is reviewed on a monthly basis to take into consideration changing circumstances such as the addressing of rent arrears and medical problems arising.
In this regard, there may be further replacements taking place in the Rossfield area in the coming month but it is not possible to give a definitive figure. It should also be noted that 13 were replaced in this area in 2012, which represents 14% of the replacements in the overall Tallaght Area.
