MOTION NO. 2

MOTION: Councillor T. Ridge

That the Manager provide a full reply as to the status of the property on St. Patrick's Rd. Clondalkin in view of ongoing difficulties.

REPORT:

The Members will be aware that it has not been possible to acquire legal title to a small area of land adjacent 1a St. Patrick's Road, Clondalkin required to rationalise title by negotiation and agreement.

Accordingly the Council must now acquire the area in question compulsorily.  A Compulsory Purchase Order has been prepared.  It is anticipated that a technical issue about the making of the CPO will be resolved today and the CPO will be signed before the end of this week.
