MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That the Manager accede to the request of Rathfarnham Traders Association regarding the parking permits for Village Court, without delay."

REPORT:

Parking permits are available for Village Court car park. These permits cost €60 per month including VAT as the car park is ‘off-street’.  This is less than half the charge for on street parking in the village. It is proposed to adjust the parking permit charge within the revision of the Control of Parking Bye Laws. Surveying of parking across the county for this revision is currently underway. It is expected that this revision will take until the third quarter of this year to complete.
