MOTION: Councillor P. Cosgrave

"That the Manager repair the pothole and broken concrete on the road at the entrance to Washington Park also the footpath at the entrance is very badly damaged by tree roots."

REPORT:

The area has been inspected by Roads staff. Temporary repairs have been carried out to the pothole. Arrangements are in place to carry out a permanent road repair at this location. Footpath repairs in Washington Park have been included in the Area Engineer's works programme. The repairs will involve necessary tree removal. Roads and Parks staff will liaise in relation to the removal of the trees in question. The works are scheduled to be carried out in early 2013.
