QUESTION NO. 4

QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Manager to consider repairs to the part of Rossmore Road, Dublin 6w, opposite the entrance to Bishop Shanahan and Bishop Galvin National School, due to this area being subject to frequent flooding, and the difficulties arising for parents and children accessing the school, including road safety issues with children seeking to avoid the 'pooling.?"

REPLY:

A scheme is currently being prepared which will involve revisions to the signalised pedestrian crossing at this location. The drainage problem will be resolved as part of the works. The scheme will be undertaken during the next available school holiday period.
