QUESTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

"To ask the Manager for an up to date report on Lighting at the pedestrian bridge over the M50 at Palmerston which I requested be fixed at the December LAC?"

REPLY:

In December and January, following inspection of the lights provided by the M50 upgrade, rectification works were carried out to install lighting to the council’s requirements. This work is now complete and testing has been approved. A power supply for the lighting has been identified and application to the ESB for connection is in progress. However it could take a number of weeks before the connection is made.
