QUESTION NO. 5
QUESTION: Councillor G. O'Connell
"To ask the Manager that the footpaths and road surface on Oak Court Grove be examined and a report prepared for this Committee to include urgent work outside House No 33 where the road surface has subsided (apparently following work carried out to install an additional gully some years ago) causing serious problems for cars wishing to access and regress from these and adjacent driveways as well as serious flooding during heavy rainfall, and repairs to footpaths now in a dangerous condition, and to please indicate when remedial works can be carried out?"
REPLY:
The Area Engineer has been requested to carry out an inspection of the area including drainage gullys and footpaths. Any necessary repairs will be added to the works programme and carried out shortly.
