QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle

"To ask the Manager to reapply to the National Transport Authority and/or the Department of Transport, Tourism & Sports, at the earliest possible opportunity, to seek funding for extension of the Griffeen Valley Park green-route, including CCTV?"

REPLY:

In the event that funding for the provision of cycle routes is made available through the National Transport Authority and/or the Department of Transport, Tourism & Sports, an application will be made for funding to complete the extension of Griffeen Valley Park cycle route.  Any application will be subject to eligibility criteria should such funding become available.
