"To ask the Manager when will the two trees be replaced at the cul-de-sac in Alderwood Ave? (removed circa 2 yrs ago)

REPLY:

In recent years, in order to make best use of the available resources, the annual Arboricultural Programmes have focussed on tree maintenance works rather than new or replacement plantings. The same approach has been adopted in relation to the 2013 Arboricultural programme which is presented to the meeting today as a Headed Item. It is intended to review this approach in the context of the 2014 Arboricultural Programme having regard to the number of requests for new / replacement planting on hand at that time.
