MOTION: Councillor M. Devine

"To enhance and raise awareness of the Litter Bye-laws that this Council designate the "Tallaght Cultural Area" a gum free zone"

REPORT:

The Environment Strategic Policy Committee is currently preparing draft litter byelaws for the County. It is proposed to have a special informal meeting of the Environment SPC in January to discuss the litter bye laws alone and have draft byelaws prepared and presented to the next meeting of Committee in Februray 2013 .

This matter will be raised at this forum for possible inclusion in the litter bye laws.
