QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"To ask the Manager if the Estate Management function of the Council can be applied to Stocking Well where over two thirds of the residents are part of a social housing scheme?"

REPLY:

Circle Housing Association are the owners of 40 units of accommodation at this location which they obtained in December 2009 under the Capital Loan and Subsidy Scheme. In addition there are 21 unsold affordable units at the location which were acquired by the Council, with the agreement of the DOEHLG, and transferred to social housing on a temporary basis. These units are also managed and maintained by Circle Housing Association.

The Estate Management function is a matter for the Circle Housing Association
