QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

To ask the Manager to provide an approximate figure of the expenditure on repairs, renovation of footpaths in the County in 2012?

REPLY:

An amount of €450,000 was expended on footpath repairs in the County in 2012. This work was largely carried out by outside contractors. In addition to this, minor footpath bay repairs were also carried out by direct labour maintenance staff.
