AUTHORISATION OF OVERDRAFT ACCOMMODATION 2013

An overdraft facility is sometimes necessary to allow for cashflow timing differences. It is considered prudent to seek renewal of overdraft accommodation for the period 01/01/2013 to 31/12/2013. Actual usage of the overdraft is very small, with no interest paid in the last year.

Accordingly, it is recommended that the Council approve, subject to the sanction of the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, the securing of overdraft accommodation to a limit of €25m for the period 01/01/2013 to 31/12/2013.
