QUESTION: Councillor C. Jones

"To ask the Manager if there is a further update regarding the School/Community Sports Hall for Adamstown following discussions between the developer and County Dublin VEC?"

REPLY:

Formal pre-planning meetings have been ongoing in relation to Clonburris PPS since July 2012 with earlier discussions from March 2012.  The most recent meeting took place on 9^th November 2012. 

At this meeting SDCC was advised that the Department of Education's requirements for the school building have changed and concept drawings for a revised building were presented.  It is likely to be early 2013 before an application is submitted due to the redesign.
