QUESTION: Councillor M. Corr

"To ask the Manager to provide the current numbers of applicants for housing in the Tallaght area and to indicate the average waiting time before an offer of accommodation?"

REPLY:

There are currently 10,428 applications on the Council's Housing List, of these 7,717 have expressed interest in housing for South of the Naas Road housing area.  The average time for housing in this area is five years.
