MOTION NO.9

MOTION: Councillor C. King

That this Committee while supporting the recently adopted County Play Policy commends and supports the efforts of the "amplifying Voices" group of young people aged  9-13 from St Dominic's in engaging with this Council in an attempt to participate in the design and planning of the proposed MUGA for the area adjacent to St Dominic's Community Centre and supports the staff in an early and positive engagement with the group.

REPORT:

There has been recent contact with the Amplifying Voices group through the Customer Care system and arrangements are being made to meet with the group to discuss how such a facility might be progressed and managed sustainably in this area.
