BICYCLE PARKING STANDS IN CLONDALKIN ELECTORAL AREA
The Planning Department has received an allocation of funding from the National Transport Authority for the provision of cycle stands at local centres. Locations being considered at present in the Clondalkin area include Bawnogue, Deansrath, Clondalkin Town Centre, Neilstown, Rowlagh, Balgaddy, Corkagh Park. The cycle stands are the 'Sheffield Stand' type; brushed stainless steel and will be provided in publicly accessible areas. The areas considered must have a possibility of passive surveillance e.g. areas of high use, community centres, libraries, civic centres etc. The attached drawings identify locations that meet the above criteria in Clondalkin Town Centre area, Balgaddy, Rowlagh and Neilstown. These are currently being priced for installation in the coming weeks. Drawings are being prepared for other areas in Bawnogue, Deansrath and Corkagh.
