MOTION NO. 9
MOTION: Councillor G. Kenny
That the Manager give dates for the removal of the stone boulders which are presently on Méile an Rí Crescent. The boulders are a complete eyesore for the residents and the council have promised a number of months ago that they would be removed.
REPORT:
In 2011 boulders were placed, as a temporary measure, on Méile an Rí Crescent, to close off access to this road. This was carried out as a result of discussions and requests from the residents in Balgaddy.
The Council's Planning Department report that the tender for this project is now being prepared to provide a permanent closure, consisting of a plinth and bollards.
