To ask that the Manager provide a report on the monitoring of and reports received with regards to inspections for Tree infestation of pipes, gullies, culverts etc. across the County?
REPLY:
Tree root infestation problems in the Council's pipework generally come to our attention as a result of ponding or local flooding in a specific area.
Following reports of same, an investigation is carried out which may include the carrying out of CCTV surveys of the pipework to ascertain as to what's causing the blockage.
