QUESTION: Councillor E. Tuffy

"To ask the Manager if she will make a report on the arrangements/regulations in place to provide Parking Permits for Businesses in Lucan Village?"

REPLY:

A commercial permit can be purchased on a monthly basis at a rate of €60, it can be used on the Lucan Road area near the petrol station. This represents a saving in excess of €100 for daily parking over a month. Permits can be applied for in the Roads section of the Council web site www.sdcc.ie . It should be noted that a permit is an exemption from further payment and not a guarantee of a space.
