MOTION NO. 12

MOTION: Councillor J. Hannon

That a report be provided on the transfer of legal title to the Council of the Dodder Valley open space lands, given that these lands have been under the Council's control for over 20 years.

REPORT:

The area in question is Dedicated Open Space which was dedicated to the Council by the developer of the adjoining estate.

The Council's Law Agent is in the process of registering  the Council's title to these lands.However as the developer is in part receivership the Law Agent is in correspondence with the Receiver endeavouring to complete the transfer of title to the Council.When title has been transferred to the Council, registration will be completed with the Property Registration Authority.
