MOTION: Councillor C. King

That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange as a matter of priority to maintain the grassed areas on both sides of Tallaght stream along the ‘black path’ between the Old Bawn Rd and the Bridge at St Dominic’s Rd as this has become so overgrown that it has become a safety/security issue for pedestrians and cyclists alike who use the path. It is also extremely unsightly and does not give a good impression of our County Town at such a prominent location at the junction to the Village.

REPORT:

This area has become overgrown recently and is in an unacceptable condition.   It is planned to undertake normal maintenance on it in the coming weeks.
